Secrets of Shannadi Chakra.

Shannadi means six Naadis, i.e. Nakshatras (constellations). Shannadi
chakra is a chakra or chart of six Nakshatras.
Shannadi chakra along with Naba Tara chakra provides additional inputs to the dasha and gochar
system and, thus helps in maximizing prediction accuracy.

Actually, the dasha, gochara, Shannadi chakra,
and Naba Tara chakra function like interconnected components in predicting the effects
of a particular period of time upon a native.
Truly speaking, the result they give is
amazing – almost infallible.

How is the Shannadi
chakra drawn?

The Janma Nakshatra is a very important consideration in Vedic
astrology. Janma Nakshatra means that Nakshatra (constellation) which the Moon
takes on with it at the moment of birth of a native. The Shannadi chakra is
drawn counting the Moon as the 1st Nakshatra or Naadi which is
called Janma Nakshatra.

The names of the Shannadi Chakra are: – 1) Janma Naadi,
2) Karma Naadi, 3) Shanghatik Naadi, 4)Samudaya Naadi, 5) Binash Naadi, and 6)
Manash Naadi. The selection procedure of the shannadi chakra nakshatra is such
that the Moon is the Janma Nakshatra, counting from the moon the 10th Nakshatra
is the Karma Naadi, the 16th Sanghatik Naadi, the 18th
Samudaya Naadi, the 23rd Binash Naadi, and the 25th
Manash Naadi

How does the Shannadi
chakra work?

The application rules of Shannadi chakra are very simple.
They are succinctly explained below: –

1)    Janma
 Naadi (Nakshatra) : –
Association of  malefic planets with the Janma Nakshatra in
the natal chart indicates lack of mental peace, life-long physical discomfort,
failure in undertakings often as not, and loss of wealth association of  benefic planet with the Janma Nakshatra
indicates favourable results in the matters mentioned above.
During gochar(transition) period, a benefic planet’s conjunction with the Janma
Nakshatra gives good results and malefic planet’s association bad result.

2)    Karma
Naadi (nakshatra): –
Here Karma refers to the vocation of life. Conjunction of a malefic
planet with the Karma Naadi in the natal chart causes trouble and issues in our
profession, occupation, and business; on the other hand, conjunction of a
natural benefic planet indicates growth, development, promotion, triumph, and
accomplishment.

During gochar (transition), a malefic planet’s association with
the karma Naadi is likely to bring about untoward in vocational life such as, a
charges, an accusation, or a legal action against the native and if, at the
same time, a malicious planet’s Mahadasha or/and Antardasha is running then the
native may even lose the job; and, if a natural benefic planet comes into
conjunction with the karma Naadi, then the native may get promotion, honour or
achieve a feat.

Sanghatic Naadi (nakshatra): – A malefic planet with Sanghatic Nakshatra in the natal chart foretells trouble from friends, monetary difficulties, and health issues and association of benefic planets brings pleasure and success in matters related to friends, money, health, and life in general. Transition of malefic planets brings bad results and benefic planets favourable results during the transition period.

4)    Samudaya Naadi: – Samudaya Naadi’s affliction with malefic planet in the natal chart brings about untoward in many areas of life –long time trouble and strife with spouse, ill health of spouse, and friends. Such native will have to negotiate with hostile environment throughout life.

In such case, when a malefic planet transits to the Samudaya Naadi then it causes strife and dispute with spouse and financial constrain. On the other hand, benefic planet with the Samudaya Naadi brings in favourable outcome on these above mentioned matters.

5)    Binash Naadi: – Afflicted Binash Naadi with malefic planet in the birth chart portends serious health issues. During gochara, if Binash Naadi is conjoined by Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu and at the same time the Mahadash or Antardasha of Maraka (death inflicting) planet is in operation then such a configuration foreshadows a serious threat to life –serious illness or even death. On the contrary, conjunction of benefic planets in the birth chart signals good health.

6)    Manash Naadi:  Malefic with Manash Naadi in the birth chart indicates unhappiness, sorrow, grief, and lack of mental peace throughout life. Benefic planet in the Manash Naadi in the birth chart is the sign of sound mind, sobriety and equanimity.

The following are the rules how Shannaadi chakra principles are applied in prediction: –

1)    If all the Shannadi chakra Nakshtras take on the natural benefic planets with them in the birth chart (natal chart) then the native of such birth chart is called to have born with Rajyoga. Such person will definitely enjoy joyful and successful life. On the contrary, if a person is born with powerful Rajyoga but with   malefic planets in all the Shannadi chakra defined Nakshatras, and then this position negates the Rajyoga. It means the native will not be able to enjoy the benefits of Rajyog.

 2) The above mentioned rules against each of the six shannadi chakra show their effects (good or bad) throughout life. But they exert their effects especially during the Dasha periods. Here the dasha period applied is the Bimshottary dasha because Bimshottari dasha is nakshatra based dasha and the Shannadi chakra technique is also based on nakshatras.

Therefore, the Shannadi chakra effects show their impact on   natives’ lives when the lord of any of the Shannadi chakra defining nakshatras in the natal chart is in operation period through Bimshottari dasha or gochar or both together. If the dasha lord in operation (currently running) is not connected with any of the Shannadi chakra defining Nakshatra then Shannadi chakra effect will not hold good. Let me cite an example to spell out my point with more clarity.

Example: – For a person born in Libra Ascendant and Rohini Nakshatra (Moon in Taurus) the Nakshatr No.26, Uttarabhadrapada Nakshatra   (check it in the table on the preceding page) will be his/her Binash Nakshatra (23 rd from the Janma Nakshatra, Rohini).

Saturn is the Rajyog karak planet for Libra ascendant (lord of 4th and 5th houses) and he is sitting in the 9th house. In such case, the Saturn becomes very powerful Rajyog karak. Now, during the Bimshottari dasha period, the person will experience all the benefits of Rajyoga; but, the Saturn being the lord of the Binash Nakshatra, the person will also face major health setback.

 3)  suppose, currently favourable dasha   is running but malefic planets are in transition to the Shannadi Nakshatra or Nakshatras. Such a position indicates obstacle and difficulty   as long as malefic planets stay with Shannadi chakra Nakshatras. The native will experience the good results offered by the favourable dasha only when the malefic move away from the Shannadi chakra defined Nakshatras.

4) During the Marakdasha (death inflicting) operation period, if malefic planet or planets, Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu transits on to the Binash Nakshatra then the native will have major health issues which may even pose death threat.

5) Favourable dasha is running, but, if malefic planets are transiting on the Binash and Sanghatic Nakshatras then such transition will push   the native into strained environment and health problem.

6) Suppose that the Shannadi chakra Nakshatras are afflicted by malefic planets in the natal chart. But currently, the Rajyog Karak planet’s dasha is running. Under such position, the native will experience the beneficial results bestowed by the Rajyoga through obstacles and difficulties.
